Limited Warranty (All Customers)

All our products are covered under a limited warranty from the date of purchase when used under normal conditions and for their intended purpose.

Warranty Periods:

  • Wallets: 5 years

  • Backpacks: 10 years

  • Speed Cockpit: 5 years

  • 3 in 1 Sling Mini: 5 years

  • Clothing: 30 days

  • Gliders (Snickers): 90 days

  • GLIDESPEED Carry-on Polycarbonate: 1 year

  • GLIDESPEED Carry-on Aluminium: 2 years

  • GLIDESPEED Carry-on Carbon Fiber: 2 years

  • GLIDESPEED Carry-on Titanium: Lifetime

Material Characteristics and Customer Responsibility

Many of our products use natural, premium materials such as full-grain leather, suede, and high-grade textiles. These materials may develop marks, stains, patina, texture variations, or color changes as a result of use, exposure to the environment, body oils, moisture, friction, or improper care. These changes are normal characteristics of natural materials and are not considered manufacturing defects. Customers are responsible for the proper care, cleaning, and protection of delicate materials.

General Exclusions

This limited warranty does not cover:

  • Misuse, neglect, accidents, or modifications.

  • Loss, damage, or costs resulting from misuse.

  • Cosmetic damage, including scratches, stains, water marks, patina, dents, or color changes.

  • Damage caused by exposure to moisture, sunlight, oils, cosmetics, or abrasive surfaces.

  • General wear and tear, including material softening or natural aging.

  • Damage resulting from improper cleaning, conditioning, or the use of non-approved care products.

Gliders (Footwear) – Specific Policy

Warranty Coverage

  • Period: 90 days from the date of purchase.

  • Coverage: Strictly covers manufacturing defects, defined specifically as:

    • Sole peeling (delamination of the outsole).

    • Structural stitching failures.

  • Exclusions: Does not cover wear and tear of the tread, creasing of the upper material, or damage caused by machine washing or improper drying.

Care Instructions (Critical for Warranty Validity) To maintain the condition of your Gliders and preserve the warranty, please follow these care guidelines:

  1. Hand wash only using cold or lukewarm water (Max 30°C).

  2. Do not use bleach or aggressive solvents.

  3. Do not machine dry or tumble dry. Heat will damage the adhesives.

  4. Dry flat in the shade in a well-ventilated area.

  5. Do not wring or twist the footwear to remove water.

  6. Do not iron or dry clean.

GLIDESPEED Carry-on – Specific Coverage & Exclusions

Functional Warranty (Covered) We guarantee the mechanical functionality of the carry-on for the duration of its specific warranty period. Coverage is strictly limited to:

  • Wheel System: Failure of the wheels to roll, rotate, or remain attached to the chassis during normal use.

    • Note: This covers mechanical seizing or wobbling. It does not cover wheels that are snapped off, cracked, or missing due to heavy impact or airline handling.

  • Telescopic Handle: Mechanical failure resulting in the handle getting stuck, jamming, or failing to extend/retract.

Aesthetic & Usage Exclusions (Not Covered) This warranty covers function, not form. The following are considered normal wear and tear or user damage and are not covered:

  • Exterior Aesthetics: Dents, scratches, scuffs, abrasions, or marks on the shell (Polycarbonate, Aluminium, Carbon Fiber, or Titanium). These are normal signs of travel.

  • Interior Wear: Rips, tears, stains, or damage to the lining, mesh, or dividers resulting from overpacking or spillage.

Warranty Claim Process

To make a warranty claim, contact us at support@thefrenchieco.com with proof of purchase, a description of the issue, and photos if applicable. We will assess your claim within 14 days and offer a suitable remedy (repair, replacement, or refund).

Legal Warranty (EU & UK)

In addition to our voluntary limited warranty, EU and UK consumers benefit from a 2-year legal warranty starting from the date of delivery, covering manufacturing defects and product non-conformity.
