By hand
Our wallets, backpacks, briefcases, slings and bags are made by hand, as they have been for more than ten years. The artisans who make them keep getting better, and it shows in the edges, the stitching and the way a piece closes. GLIDESPEED luggage is the one exception: a suitcase on wheels needs industrial steps, so we don't call it handmade.
In small runs
We make each product in short runs instead of filling warehouses. Every batch stays under close watch, material is planned down to the cut, and far less of it ends up as offcuts or unsold stock.
Inspected twice
Every piece goes through a two-phase inspection, for durability, function and finish, before it leaves the workshop. If something isn't right, it doesn't ship.
Materials that earn their place
Full-grain leather from a tannery in northern Italy, which keeps the hide's natural surface and softens with use. Military-grade ballistic nylon that shrugs off scrapes. Metal hardware where others settle for plastic. Each one is there because it holds up to the way you live.
Backed in writing
Five years on our Speed Wallets (one year on the MagSafe models) and ten on our Speed Backpacks and briefcases. Every other product carries its own warranty, listed in our Warranty policy, and you have 30 days from delivery to decide.
