The original Speed Wallet is slightly larger at 6.5 x 9.9 x 1.5 cm | 2.56 x 3.9 x 0.59 inches . The Mini requires a minimum of 3 cards per slot , while the original Speed Wallet has no minimum card requirement per slot. The original Speed Wallet features an inner pocket for extra card storage, which the Mini does not have.

Each wallet is made by hand in small batches and inspected twice before it ships. Limited runs and precise cutting keep waste to a minimum.

The Materials

Full-Grain Italian Leather – Bovine leather from a tannery in northern Italy. It's full-grain: the hide's natural surface is left intact, which keeps its strength, lets it breathe and gives each piece its own character. It softens with use and takes on a patina from the way you carry it, so a year in, it looks better than the day it arrived.

Ballistic Nylon – A dense basket weave of high-denier nylon, first made for military flak jackets. It resists abrasion, tearing and punctures, and stays light and flexible.

6 Month Update

I've been using this daily for 6 months and it still looks brand new. This wallet uses space very practically. One small thing I did notice after several months is that the interior pocket and cash area is more suited to left-handed people as it's layout promotes the use of your right hand to grab the cash and cards. As a right-handed person, I tend to use my left hand to grab items from my wallet. It feels a little non-intuitive but not a deal breaker.
