Bovine leather from a tannery in northern Italy. It's full-grain: the hide's natural surface is left intact, which keeps its strength, lets it breathe and gives each piece its own character. It softens with use and takes on a patina from the way you carry it, so a year in, it looks better than the day it arrived.

Sturdy stand but faulty design

The stand included in this thing is incredibly sturdy, which makes it great for viewing content; however, the bottom of the wallet extends ever so slightly beyond the bottom of the phone, which causes everything to be off axis when the stand is in use and the phone is opened. Under these same conditions, this causes the phone to rock from side to side when pressing the volume keys at the top. This thing also adds considerably to the width of the phone, making the Duo unwieldly to hold, but acts as a nice place to rest your fingers when opened in the palm of your hand.

Little bit disappointed with the finishing, the logo is crooked, and the wallet is rigid, I got used to smooth high end wallets from frenchie, this one was just so so.
